（路透曼谷13日電）泰國總理帕拉育（Prayuth Chan-ocha）今晚表示，在國王蒲美蓬（Bhumibol Adulyadej）辭世後，王儲瓦吉拉隆功證實會履行王儲義務，這顯示王儲會如眾所期望登基。
泰國王室說，國王蒲美蓬（Bhumibol Adulyadej）今天不敵病魔，撒手人寰。但是當局未正式宣布繼位人，帕拉育則告訴記者，正式登基程序可能還要再等候，64歲王儲瓦吉拉隆功（Maha Vajiralongkorn）要求與人民一起為泰王舉哀一段時間，暫緩登基。
帕拉育表示，他稍早覲見64歲王儲瓦吉拉隆功（Maha Vajiralongkorn），「當適當時間來到，王儲證實了解他的義務，會繼續履行王儲義務」。
他表示：「我今天覲見王儲，他要求一些時間準備，再宣告他為新國王。」中央社（翻譯）
